The Shortage of quality NCO�s

This year�s EFMB is definitely showing the effects of the Army down sizing policy, especially in the NCO corps. There are only 32 Noncomission Officers going for the badge out of 111 competing candidates. Regardless of their percentages, the NCO is and always will be the�Backbone of Army� and true in their profession. Only the best will wear the stripes of the Noncommission Officer.

Meeting and overcoming the Challenge

While preparing for the next millennium, it�s imperative that our soldiers can meet and overcome any challenge on the battlefield. Through proper training and motivation this goal has been achieved and will continue to be maintained into 21st Century.

One for all and all for one.
|
A cohesive team is achieved through side by side training and testing. Regardless of their duty assignments, leaders are showing that they must be as proficient in training as they would be in combat.
